My name is Andy and I've been working as a professional drummer and multi-instrumentalist for the best part of twenty years. During that time I've performed thousands of shows, touring across the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada with artists such as John Parish (PJ Harvey), Anika, Charlotte Hatherley (Ash), Marc Ford (Black Crowes), Elles Bailey, Kevin Montgomery and Lisa Mills.
As a recording session drummer I've had the privilege of working with some of the best composers, producers and engineers in the business such as Geoff Barrow, Adrian Utley, Stew Jackson, TJ Allen, Peter Miles and Neil Davidge, contributing to multiple singles, albums and music for television.
I am a dedicated educator with fifteen years experience teaching in further and higher education institutes as well as privately. I am currently a senior lecturer at BIMM University, holding a PGCert in Teaching & Learning as well as an MA in Popular Music Practice.
My two main acts are Emily Breeze and PEACH, but I can also be seen playing keys with experimental group Fool’s Spring, and am currently writing my first solo album.
